What is the production process of industrial silicon

Industrial Silicon (Silicon Metal), also known as metal silicon crystalline silicon, is derived from the reduction of silica by carbon reducing agent in the mineral furnace, is an important raw material for the production of organic si silicon, polysilicon and aluminum alloy.

Industrial silicon is produced by continuous electrothermal chemical reaction in a mineral furnace with silica, carbonaceous reducing agent and loosening agent as raw materials.

In the process of smelting production, the charge required for production is first sent to the storage yard of the ore furnace workshop by the raw material handling system, and then according to the ratio of the charge, the accurately weighed charge is delivered to the top bunker of the ore furnace workshop or the storage bin of the operating platform by the conveying equipment, and the charge is added to the furnace by the operator of the furnace.
